Paris souvenir shops

These are the last pictures from Paris that I will be sharing with you all from the New Year holiday trip. This was taken January 1st, 2012 on the day of New Year after we've had a very long sleep.

On that day we planned to visit and see the Paris Catacombes however to our disappointment they were close because it was New Year so our trip to see some real skeleton would have to wait for our 3rd visit in Paris someday.

We explored Paris instead, we stopped at McDonalds to have a snack and bought some macaroons. In my opinion they're as good as Laduree, they actually taste the same the only difference is the brand and the price (McCafe's is obviously more cheaper than Ladurees).

We then walked to side streets and walked into different souvenir shops where I bought a Paris street sign theme fridge magnet saying: 'Paris Fashion Capital' and a bronze Eiffel Tower that you can both see in this post here.

We then popped into one of the sushi restaurants that was very quiet that the chef was having a nap by the seating area. Anyway we got a sushi tray takeaway which we ate in front of Notre Dame, see post here.

P.S. My Paris Photo Diary Part 1 has been messed up in terms of the pictures in it so I might have to re-do the post later on.

  1. The McDonalds in Paris sells macarons??
Lovely photos, you definitely made the souvenirs look way more interesting than they usually really are! hehe
